Recertification - certificate renewal

General 

Global Network Group (GNG) operates as a conformity assessment body (CAB) and certifies individuals (practitioners). ADR Register, ICR Coach Register and EMCI Register are part of Global Network Group. Since April 28, 2008, GNG has been ISO 9001 certified by LRQA (formerly Lloyds Register). All certification processes are carried out against the international ISO standards, with re-certification being mandatory for person-based certification. 

Periodically

Recertification is applied periodically and is linked to the certification period. A certification period is 5 full consecutive years. 

Recertification associate level (general)

When recertifying for the associate level, conversion to the full is mandatory. The associate level is 1-time and is not renewable. As soon as the certificate holder expects to meet the requirements, the recertification audit can be initiated. It is not mandatory to complete the certification period. The audit can be started as soon as the requirements are met, and thus no later than the closing date of the certification period. Conversion from associate level to full level and recertification is granted as soon as the recertification audit is completed with a satisfactory result.

Recertification associate level (mentorship)

Recertification at the associate level can be done through the mentorship. Once the mentorship is completed with a satisfactory result, recertification against the full level automatically follows. The mentorship has a minimum completion time of two full years. The mentorship combines peer supervision & recertification, and is preferred. 

Recertification full level 

Recertification for the full level is done as a peer review or remote desktop audit. The remote desktop audit is done by the secretariat (office operations). The peer review is a peer audit where certificate holders audit each other. The peer review offers additional added value because the audit procedure provides for peer feedback and reflection. The peer review is preferred.

No recertification

Recertification is not mandatory. If the certificate holder does not opt for recertification or does not resolve the findings (the shortcomings) during the recertification audit, deregistration from the register follows and the certification is terminated.

Audit elements 

During recertification, the formal audit elements are:

• sufficient CPD points achieved?
• sufficient client assignments performed?
• do the client assignments carried out comply with the code of conduct and the scope-process-procedure requirements?

At peer review, non-formal audit elements are added, such as reflection and peer feedback.

Recertification through comparable quality system

If, in addition to certification with Global Network Group, the certificate holder is affiliated with another equivalent quality system, recertification can be based on this system. Affiliation with the other system can be taken over in whole or in part. Please contact office-operations to discuss the possibilities.
